GBBopen Ports

GBBopen is actively supported on the following Common Lisp implementations:

• Allegro Common Lisp
  • version 9.0
• CLISP
  • version 2.49 (configure --with-threads if possible)
  
• Clozure CL
  • version 1.10
• CMUCL
  • version 20e
• ECL
  • version 13.5.1
• Lispworks
  • version 7.0
• SBCL
  • version 1.3.* (use sb-thread package where available; see ISSUES file for compile/run issue starting with 1.0.44)

Completion of Armed Bear Common Lisp (ABCL) support is awaiting some final cleanup work. We are hopeful that this will enable full use of GBBopen under ABCL.

The GBBopen Project continues to indirectly support Scieneer CL (Version 1.3.9) via contributed source-code patches. We do not have a Scieneer CL license and therefore rely on those who do for maintenance and testing.

Completion of ports to the following implementations are unlikely, as GBBopen requires more complete MOP capabilities:

• Corman Common Lisp
  • version 3.0
• GCL
  • version 2.7.0 ANSI ("development" branch)

Support for Digitool MCL has been discontinued; however GBBopen may still function under MCL.
